For a permanent position with an established technology company in Southern Germany, we are looking for an experienced Senior Project Lead (m/f/d). In this role, you will take technical responsibility for complex ASIC developments and coordinate interdisciplinary engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle. We are looking for someone who combines strong ASIC expertise with technical project leadership and is interested in a long-term position within an innovative semiconductor environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead ASIC developments from specification through design, verification and qualification
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary teams across analog, digital, verification and related ASIC disciplines
  • Manage technical scope, milestones, schedules, risks and deliverables
  • Drive technical decisions and support the resolution of critical development issues
  • Coordinate internal engineering teams and external semiconductor partners
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of ASIC development processes and methodologies
  • Ensure compliance with relevant automotive quality and functional safety requirements

Your Profile

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Semiconductor Engineering or a comparable discipline
  • Several years of professional experience in ASIC/IC development
  • Strong background in analog and/or mixed-signal ASIC development
  • Experience with CMOS technologies; BCD experience is a strong advantage
  • Proven experience in technical leadership or coordination of ASIC developments
  • Good understanding of the complete ASIC development lifecycle
  • Experience in automotive or comparable safety-critical semiconductor environments is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of Functional Safety and relevant semiconductor quality standards
  • Strong communication, coordination and technical leadership skills
  • Very good English; German is an advantage

Deine Arbeitsumgebung:

You will join an experienced, international semiconductor development environment and work closely with ASIC specialists, technical experts and external technology partners.

This is not a purely administrative project management role. You should understand technical challenges, discuss solutions with engineering teams and provide direction when important technical decisions are required.
